they have called a guide and we should see them tonight at Berthol.
we decide to take the easier route.
we are still not shure about our glacier and snowfield skills.
Manuel, the guide from Chamonix, called this the elevator-day. down and up !
we get off the glacier to early and spend one hour in the rocks...
then its easy, down, down, down... until the knees hurt.
we have a long break and then go up the other side of the valley.
nothing dificult, just long and steep.
the hut is really nice, view all around, the complete panorama.
its the first of August, the swiss national day, therefor they offer us a special dessert.
